Do UK Dentists still put children to sleep to remove a tooth nowadays or do they HAVE to have an injection?
ok, cheers for the info. My poor bairn's terrified and I wasn't sure what to tell her. Thanks!
depends if they have a qualified aneatheitist. my nephew had 7 teeth out in hospital last week, my god son also had teeth out in hospital as he freaked in the dentist surgery.
but some dentists have qualified aneathatists who work certain days. mine is there every other thursday and will put any patient to sleep who is fretting about haing a needle, but depends on health and you may have to wait longer.
it also depends how tricky the teeth are to pull and how many they are having out. but if you request to have it in hospital then im sure they will try and oblige
